5484	OMEdit settings for NF API	Francesco Casella	Adrian Pop	"In order to use the new API, it is currently necessary to set {{{-d=newInst,nfAPI}}} in {{{Tools | Options | Simulation}}}. If {{{-d=newInst}}} is not set, the new API crashes miserably.

This means that it is currently not possible to use the new API for editing, but then to keep using the old front end for compilation, unless you keep changing the settings all the time, which is not practical.

For the 1.14.0 release, we planned to use by default the new API for editing, but keep on using the old front-end for checking and compilation, with the possibility of using the new front end also for the latter purpose only provided as an optional choice.
