using models with a large number of parameters is a tedious and error prone job - if you want to simulate a device with different parameters and you forget to change a single parameter, the whole simulaton is wrong. 
As a cure, I use parameter records: The user can prepare parameter records for different versions of the device and propagate them to the device with a single action. 
Unfortunately, trying to edit the parameter record in the parameter menu of the component is nearly impossible without some sort of parameter record editor. It would be nice to press a button in the parameter menu near the parameter record and the parameter menu of the parameter record is shown.

I'm sure this enhancement would not only improve usage for teaching but also for industrial applications.
