6056	Support plot annotations (MCP-0033)	Francesco Casella	Adeel Asghar	"[https://github.com/modelica/ModelicaSpecification/pull/2482 MCP-0033] defines annotation for pre-defined plots in Modelica models.

This a very nice feature that helps understanding models much more easily, because the modeller can specifiy what are the important variables one should look at once the simulation has been run.

It will also be essential to streamline the process of generating reference files for verification.

I understand the MCP is close to being finalized, and is already supported by many tool vendors who are participating to the specification and testing it. I think that
- an OSMC representativ should join the discussion (I suggest @adease31 does it);
- we give our feedback on the MCP proposal before it gets into the Modelica Specification. I think the proposal is now quite good, but we should analyze it in detail to make sure it is not problematic to us for any reason
- we start implementing it in OMEdit ASAP so that we are ready to support it once it is added to the Modelica Specification.

I guess this just requires to define and implement a simple API function to retrieve the data, then implementing it in OMEdit should be quite easy.
