This makes the executable more portable, but in 99% of the cases when using OMEdit, nobody cares about that. 

It is then a good idea to use dynamic linking in 1.17.0.[https://github.com/OpenModelica/OpenModelica/pull/7183 PR 7183] does that on master, if successful it could be cherry-picked into 1.17.0.
