    22It looks like we can proceed with option 1.
     3When adapting extent to diagram we could use the coarse grid Franceso mentions.

     5If instance e chose 10 units resolution possible rectangles 40X60, or 40x80, could be automatically set, but not 42x26 75x80, etc.

     7This 10 (or better 20?) point resolution seems to me a good default choice; ideally this choice should be under user control through OMEdit options
