hkiel has fixed some of the issues via PR: ​https://github.com/OpenModelica/OpenModelica/pull/7228 let's look a bit into this again.

    1 I have 1.16.1 installed and just tried to update to 1.16.2 but it fails to build.  I'm attaching the build log file.
     1This ticket is to document issues on MacOS and try to keep it to build with help from other people.
