I think that the thing that makes the problem is the "dat = Functions.Calc..."
equation, and I know that there should be a way to do this only once (it's just
an initialization) but I cannot find it.

I've been testing a sampled model using the last nightly build (March 2) and the
sampled part does not work. Look at the attached example.
