Problem with WaveEquationSample.mo model on Mac

Description
Perhaps this problem has been taken care of in a later OpenModelica version. The model WaveEquationSample.mo (in testsuite\mofiles) does not seem to compile with more than about 20-25 state variables on a mac system, see below. The compilation gets stucked after instantiation.
Mac OS 10.5.8 on a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook with 4GB DDR
With Windows Vista (with a decent laptop) you can compile and simulate the model with many state variables (trunk version of OM).

Works fine on OSX 10.6.3 (if you load MSL first). I'm using the trunk version of OMC.
