This ticket was not closed for 1.9.1, which has now been released. It was batch modified for milestone 1.9.2 (but maybe an empty milestone was more appropriate; feel free to change it).

I guess we can close this ticket as invalid
because we have duplicate
option now.

This ticket is not invalid.
Menu items Cut, Copy and Paste (in menu "Edit") are still there and do nothing.
Either remove these items, or implement proper behaviour.
Also, duplication of a single item is not what can fully replace a "select many items, Copy, Paste" workflow...

I have already removed Cut, Copy and Paste since they are doing nothing.

You can selected many items and choose duplicate or simply press ctrl+D.

I checked 1.9.3 release...
The trunk version is now fixed and everything works as expected.
I'll close the ticket.
