#2560 closed enhancement (fixed)
A suggestion for three small connecting lines improvements

Description
I suggest the following two improvements in how connecting lines are managed in OMEdit:
1) although the components are snapped to grid, the connector lines nodes are not. This is inconsistent: when snap to grid is activated both components and connector lines nodes should be snapped
2) the colour of the line should be taken from the colour of the connecting interfaces. For instance when two electrical components are connected to each other, the line should be automatically blue
3) now, when creating connections it is easy to add intermediate points in connecting lines to help manhattanize them. However, once a connecting line is created this is impossible: one must delete and redraw the line. Maybe it is possible to add a context menu item with an "add point" feature?

This ticket was not closed for 1.9.1, which has now been released. It was batch modified for milestone 1.9.2 (but maybe an empty milestone was more appropriate; feel free to change it).

I think this ticket is not valid anymore. It is already fixed a while back. See #2506.

Yes.
I've been using Omedit since correction of 2506, and connecting lines and moving object works well.
There are a few minor issues, but I think it is not good to spend more time on this now. Maybe later, when OMEdit general quality has enhanced more.
Correction of 2506 has improved OMEdit usability a lot!
Hi,
I wanted to implement the snap to grid function also for connection lines, but I did't had the time yet :-(
(see: #2477)
Point 2 and 3 are good suggestions! Thank you for this.
Best Regards
