Description (last modified by )
The current behaviour of the mouse wheel in diagram view of OMEdit is scrolling up/down and scrolling left/right with [alt] pressed. With additional pressed [Shift] or [Ctrl] the graduation can be coarsed.
Consequently my suggestion is to Zoom In and Out on mouse wheel move AND held [Ctrl] key.
My personal preference is zooming in on mouse wheel up, but there might be people how think the other way. So an option of the mouse wheel direction would be desirable in the second step.
Contrary to #2049 I would recommend a zoom limitation (min: 10%, max: 1000% e.g.) in this case to make this enhancement perfect.

You are totally right. Ctrl+Mousewheel is the common behavior. I changed the description.
Comparing with a number of other programs out there, I would expect scroll to happen with Ctrl+Mousewheel, not Shift+Mousewheel. See e.g. Firefox, Evince, Adobe Reader, Outlook,...
Also, Wheel up for zoom in would be what I would expect, too.
