Keyboard short cuts in OMNotebook do not work properly on OS X

Description
When I hit cmd+C or cmd+V the menu item blinks so that the operation seems to be executed, but nothing happens.
When selected directly from menu it works. It also works if I mark text in the input/latex/text cell, then activate the menu "Edit" so that all items are shown and then press cmd+C or cmd+V.
cmd+B, cmd+I and cmd+U work and mark the text bold, italic or underline.
This extremely hinders efficient use of OMNotebook.
Linux version seems to work fine.
