We just discovered this today and we built new 1.11-dev.beta1 installers.
We forgot to pack some binaries in the installer that's why you get this error.
Please uninstall and download again the 1.11beta1 an reinstall it:

Is this on windows? Have you logout or restart after installing OpenModelica?
If is windows, can you look into %TEMP%\OpenModelica\OMEdit\ for your
Model.log if is there (where Model is the model you tried to simulate) and attach the log here?

Yes, Windows 10 (newest release version).
Seems to only happen with Visual Studio 2010 compiler.
using GCC works.

I have just run into this again in the v1.12 release. Turns out it is caused when the user does not have administrative permissions. When ran as administrator, it works perfectly fine.
How to reproduce:
- log on to system as a non-administrator user
- run any model
System: W8.1 64b, OM: 1.12 64b

With the release of 1.13.0 this ticket is now obsolete.
Feel free to re-open it if you still have issues with 1.13.0.

Hello,
I've got the same in the last released version OM_V1.14.1
I wish to know how to fixe it.
The error appears with, especially, one model that I am trying to developpe. I think it's tricky because I saw at least three versions having the same issue.
Hope to get any solution from you.
Thanks in advance
