Description
Please consider PowerGrids.Electrical.Test.TestTransformerWithTapChangerInterval. The model used to work in July, so probably it worked in 1.16.0, I guess that's another corner case that need to be fixed. If so, we should add the fix to 1.16.2, because it would be a regression.
If there is something wrong with the Modelica code please open an issue on the PowerGrids issue tracker, we can make a patch version at once.

Ok, I opened a ticket here since the error is correct. I'll close this ticket since it's not an OMC issue.

Made it a blocker. PowerGrids should really work 100% in OMC, no compromises.
