OMSimulator or SSP?

Description
I would try using OMSimulator, but as I'm a boeotian user my first questions are:
On my view, OMSimulator is a tool using/based on SSP, and SSP is an open-source language (tool-independent format for the description, packaging and exchange of system structures and their parameterization). Right?
I only found System Structure and Parameterization 1.0-RC2: is there any more recent version?
Why is the OMEdit menu called SSP instead of OMSimulator (as OMSimulator is a tool, and SSP a language)?

I have some troubles trying to build/use SSP systems.
Do you want me to explain more opening other tickets?

- Milestone set to 1.17.0
Please go ahead. So far there hasn't been much usage of that feature, so any user feedback is welcome. You can set the milestone to 1.17.0, even though they will probably be postponed to 1.18.0

I'll close this ticket, because I cannot see any concrete problem. As far as I understood, you have already opened dedicated tickets for your question. Thanks for your feedback and please reopen this if I missed any open issue.
Replying to jean-philippe.tavella@…:
Yes. In fact, OMSimulator is a standalone program per se. It was then interfaced with OMEdit to provide a GUI to that.
You can download SSP 1.0 from the official website: https://ssp-standard.org/downloads/
I guess because you have new Modelica class vs. new SSP model. And possibly also because SSP is shorter than OMSimulator.
