Possibility to pin recent files — at Initial Version

Description
After ticket #5961 has been successfully been fixed, the new situation opens interesting new scenarios.
I would like the possibility of adding some way to "pin" and "unpin" some of the recent files.
Pinned files should always stay on top of the list and be written in bold font.
Any recent files will be put on the list immediately after the pinned ones.
Does anyone feel the need for this feature or agree with this idea?
Is it difficult to implement?
