#3652 accepted enhancement

Unable to modify parameters inside components.

Reported by: Dietmar Winkler Owned by: Adeel Asghar
Priority: high Milestone: Future
Component: OMEdit Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description

As of 1.9.4~dev-695-g5815c70 OMEdit is not capable of changing parameters further down the hierarchy of a model. It only allows you to use view class in order to open a class in its original location. Which means changing a parameter there will change it in the original location (if it is not write protected). But you can not add any modifiers to any of the components of the sub-layer. This is quite cumbersome.

I've created a small video explaining the problem: https://vimeo.com/153357362 password is "parameter"

Thanks for the video. I know what you want now. I will see how to provide that functionality. However, you can always use Modifiers tab to add modifications manually.

As far as I know there is already a ticket about this by Francesco, I'll see if I can find it.

In case you are referring to #2891, then no this is something different.
