#3800 new defect

Verification of nightly tests lacking absolute tolerance

Reported by: Rüdiger Franke Owned by: Adrian Pop
Priority: high Milestone: Future
Component: Testing Framework Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description

There are some examples that fail to verify due to numerical noise. See e.g.:

https://test.openmodelica.org/libraries/MSL_trunk/files/Modelica.Electrical.Analog.Examples.CharacteristicThyristors.diff.Ground1.p.i.html

The plot reports a relative tolerance of 0.003. An absolute tolerance is missing if e.g. reference 0 vs. actual 4e-7 lets the validation fail.
