The OSX nighly build has been restarted successfully a long time ago. Please open a specific ticket for that if it happens again.

Regarding the installation problem, I assume it's been fixed since them, and also that it doesn't make sense to solve this for maintenance release 1.9.x, which is quite old. Please re-open the ticket if that is not the case.
