Description
I really like the new 3D animation feature in OMEdit.
I would like to suggest that a feature be added to export the animation as a movie, or at least as images.
At the moment it just opens the animation window, but there is no way that I see to save or share the animation with another person (except of course by sharing the model and having the other person install OM).
Once a model has been run, the animation can be a great way to share the results.

It doesn't seem to be straight forward. Capturing images might be easy but exporting video files is not managable with qt.(create-video-programmatically-with-qt-5-0). I would like to avoid additional dependencies.

Just saving the images would be great. It is not hard to post process a series of numbered images into a video, so that would really do what I was suggesting, with one additional step after.

Thanks for the suggestion. Exporting videos is on my agenda but with low priority. Maybe a feature for the next release.
Until then, you have to use screencasting tools.
