Description

Using debian Jessie with xfce4.10 xfce-dusk (black background) Desktop Environment, in OMEdit it is possible to change text colors e.g. text from black to white. Still, dark/black library Icons are not visible. So far it is possible to omit the non-Visibles by changing the theme of xfce. It would be nice to have a feature in OMEdit to set the appearance of OMEdit (text background and whole OMEdit background color), to have it seperate from the general desktop theme.

I am encountering the same problem with Linux Mint 19.3 using the "Mint-Y-Dark" theme for controls. Changing the text completely to a "dark theme" isn't sufficient, as the currently selected line is always highlighted in white. Allowing configuration of the background and active-line highlight color would allow for a manual fix.
