It seems that OpenModelica has a different interpretation of the specs than Dymola regarding the drawing inherited icons. I can't really say who is right or wrong or if the spec simply needs clarification. I leave that for you to decide.

I've attached a test model​ and here is the result from Dymola:

I see that OM shows very badly also the following model from ThermoPowerLib

ThermoPower.PowerPlants.Simulators.SteamPlant_Sim1

Maybe it is the same issue?
