I've updated just now to the last compiled nightly built:
OMEdit 1.13.0~dev-94-gbfd3af3 connected to built for Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS.
The running OS is Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS on x86_64.
The problem is still present.
Are the 4eb7a1/OMEdit and 782245/OMCompiler already included in this version or they will be available tomorrow?

On Windows it still dies when trying to add variables to the symbol table.
I will reopen it so that we can fix it.

This is now even fixed for Windows.

Already fixed in 4eb7a1/OMEdit and 782245/OMCompiler.
