OMEdit Crash Report: Host dev.openmodelica.org not found

After a crash caused by trying to load an encrypted Modelica library a pop-up window says:
"Following error has occurred while sending crash report: Host dev.openmodelica.org not found."

The internet connection is fine.
I'm using VPN and a proxy.

I can reach "​https://dev.openmodelica.org/". Does it work for you?

Yes. The page says:
"It works!
This is the default web page for this server.
The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet."

OMEdit might not be using the proxy settings?

Does the proxy require authentication?

Yes.
With git and other tools I use px.

Just recognized that also the Welcome Screen of OMEdit is not showing anything under Latest News. Error message:
Sorry, no internet no news items.

Maybe this is a related issue.

I guess so. I just installed the latest Windows nightly and I get all the news all right
