Description
Hi there,
I was wondering, when support for FMI Import/Export for Co-Simulation (according to 2.0 Standard) is planned to be implemented?
Can you give me an estimate?
Thanks!

Here are some pointers to our user's guide:
FMI export: https://openmodelica.org/doc/OpenModelicaUsersGuide/latest/fmitlm.html#fmi-export
FMI import: https://openmodelica.org/doc/OMSimulator/master/html/

I am particularly looking at a use case where I am importing an FMI with standard 2.0 for Co-Simulation.
When I import it, I obtain the error message, which is described in the documentation here:
https://www.openmodelica.org/doc/OpenModelicaUsersGuide/latest/fmitlm.html#fmi-import
It says: Error: The FMU version is 2.0 and FMU type is CoSimulation. Unsupported FMU type. Only FMI 2.0 ModelExchange is supported.

Thanks, Lochel!
I was exactly referring to the link that you suggested. - There it says that FMI for Co-Simulation is not supported for FMI Standard 2.0.
Is an enhancement towards integrating this functionality planned here from the OpenModelica side?
There is support of FMI for Co-simulation. We provide both import and export functionality. Are you looking for any specific functionality or do you have a particular use case in mind?
