OMEdit crashes when try to save a model after modifications

Description
Starting from today (last nightly build) OMEdit crashes when you try to save a file after any modification in the text view.
Attached error splash and OMEDIT track files.

Some more details. I have the same problem with the Windows nightly build v1.17.0-dev-178-ga2d38d04ca. v1.17.0-dev-165-g2402715627 instead seems to work fine.
So, the issue was introduced either on Nov 17 or on Nov 18.
Could it be that PR 6955 broke something in the interface between OMEdit and OMC?

@adeas31 reports that 67e9701e is probably to blame. Will be fixed ASAP.
