allow save plot to file from script

Description
Dear Colleagues,
I tried to find out any command or option which can allow me to save plot with simulation results into a file. I know that it is possible to save png file from omplot but seems that there is no way to do it from omc script.
Could you please enhance omc or omplot to allow it? For example option may be smth like (i am ok with any):
plot(x, savetofile = fname, format="png")
I appologyze if there is a way to save such a plot and i just missed it in doc. If yes could you please give me a hint how i can do it?
