OMEdit crashes when a .ssp file is replaced (save under same name)

Description
When I create a new OMSimulator Model and save it. I get a .ssp file. When I change something and save it under the same name (i.e. replace the same .ssp file), OMEdit - OpenModelica Connection Editor crashes. All changes are lost then.

Yes this is already fixed. See https://github.com/OpenModelica/OMSimulator/issues/715

I think this particular issue has been fixed in the v1.16 branch. Adeel, can you please comment on it?
