#6322 closed defect (fixed)

Modelica.Fluid.Sensors.Pressure seems to have no fluid port

Reported by: douglas.mcclean@… Owned by: Adrian Pop
Priority: blocker Milestone: 1.16.4
Component: NF API Version: 1.16.2
Keywords: Cc:

Description

In my new installation of 1.16.2, it seems like the Modelica.Fluid.Sensors.Pressure icon is missing a connection for the fluid port. Similar things seem to exist with many of the other 1 and 2 port fluid sensors.

Perhaps I am using it wrong, but this issue does not occur for me with sensors from other physical domains. The output signal port also is there and seems to work.

On windows 64-bit, I should add.

This could be an issue with recent changes to the NF API. Please go to Tools | Options | Simulation, uncheck Enable new frontend use in the OMC API and restart OMEdit. This will lead to slower response of the GUI, but as a workaround it should enable you to continue working.

We'll try to fix this in 1.16.3 ASAP.

You may also try the latest 1.17.0 nightly build, this works for me there.

Thank you! The suggested workaround worked for me. I had already tried (late last night) installing the nightly to see if that would work, it didn't for me, and in fact seemed to cause a similar problem with the first port of pipes not being available for some reason. But adjusting that setting does work for me.

The weird thing it that I don't see this issue, but I guess it's the same story as in #6307, we'll figure out next week.

Milestone: 1.16.31.16.4

Retargeted to 1.16.4, since 1.16.3 was already released but did not address the issue

1.17.0~dev.alpha0-1-g59340cf on Linux Debian

Same issue on almost all my models with missing ports and misplaced icons.

The Tools|Options|Simulation, unchecking advise worked fine after a restart.

See #6307. Already fixed in 1.18.0-dev (nightly build), will be ported ASAP to 1.17.0 and 1.16.4
